Will a trans. cooler work...

I used to have a c-4 and since I have a Shelby front valance the plan was to mount this cooler in that center opening but now that I have this t56 I'm wondering if this same cooler would work as an engine oil cooler? The only hold up I see is the plumbing is 3/8" and would HATE to starve this new 347.

I dont see why it wouldnt work as an oil cooler, just flush it out first and plumb it up

Historic, That looks great. I was just concerned about the 3/8" plumbing? Is that the size you have?
