I have a 98 GT and im planning on swapping the engine for ford racings carb'd 351/385hp or the 351/392stroke/430hp. My question is how much power will my stock tranny hold? Ive seen some t56's on ebay. Is a "corvette t56" one that will work with my future set up? Also besides a stronger clutch and rear end gears what else will i have to change to get this working? I apologize if these are idiot questions but im just getting started with the modding.
