As some already know I'm transplainting a 351 this winter in my 95 vert. What do I need to do as far as computer mods? Will it run good enough to make it to the dyno, where I can find out what is going on with my a/f ratio.
I was also wondering about the adapter to run a 93 and older computer. I've heard that 94&95's have a 6-8* of retard built in to the stock computer.Will a custom chip take care of this too.

It'll run to get to the dyno. I'm not going to go out on a limb and say how good it will run, but it will run.

The SN-95 5.0 computers have a built-in spark retard between shifts which can be knocked out via a Tweecer.

I would not switch to a Fox computer either. By doing that, you are band-aiding the problem rather than fixing it.
