Okay, I've had my 93 Coupe a few months now. I wanted to do a base idle reset.
My car ran good until I turned on the A/C - then it would idle so low it would die at a light.
I borrowed a timing light and cannot see the timing marks AT ALL.
It's also very difficult ( almost impossible ) to see the marks because of the Vortech Supercharger brackets that are in the way.
I pulled the spout connector out and it will not start.
I put it back in and it started .
What can I possibly do to correct this ?
Is it like this because of the tune for the Vortech V3 SCI ?

Dump the codes and see what you get.

Dump codes sticky

Look at the top of the 5.0 Tech forum where the sticky threads are posted. One of them is how to dump the computer codes. Codes may be present even if the CEL (Check Engine Light) isn’t on. You don’t need a code reader or scanner – all you need is a paper clip, or if your lady friend has a hair pin, that will do the job.
I highly suggest that you read it and follow the instructions to dump the codes. http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/how-to-pull-codes-from-eec4.889006/

does this also apply if I have a Mega squirt PNP 2 stand alone ?
I don't want to do this if I will damage the computer !!!
Yep, the spout is not removed when checking timing on a MS powered car. The procedure is much different.

The idle settings must be adjusted and tuned correctly for the extra idle load as well. Likely this is not the case.

Did you tune this car? If not do you have a laptop and tunerstudio?

If you need help I hang out in the digital self tuning section I specialize in MS powered cars.

Ok just make a thread over there with your car info and post your current tune file, a datalog of the car idling will help as well.

I will take a look when I get a chance and tell you what needs done.

You neglected to mention that you had a Mega Squirt computer system. That make a very big difference; If I had known that your engine control computer was a Mega Squirt , I would never have made any comments or suggestions. What works for the stock EECIV doesn't have much to do with Mega Squirt.
