Will stock tires fit on 17x9 wheels?

I am interested in purchasing the black bullitt wheels in 17x9, but i was wondering whether the stock tires will fit? Until i get wider tires........

Yes they will i had that size on 17*9s

how did they look? did the tire look small on the rim (width wise)?

I was asking about the stock tire on a 9" wheel because I wanted to sell my stock Bullitts and get the black bullitts from mustangtuning.com with the stock tire for now until they wear out.

Ye's they'll fit on the back.

I have 275/40's on the back and I'm about to put some 265/40's on the front.

if i put 275/40/17 tires on 17x9 wheel up front will i have any problems during turning, etc?

No it will be fine. I have 275/40/17 up front and the car is lowered 1 3/4" no probs at all with turning. You can still full lock without rubbing.

Mine rub slightly at full lock sometimes. I would recommend something a little narrower for the front and something a little wider for the back.

I've got 275/40/17's with 03 cobra wheels on all 4. I have NEVER heard rubbing.
