Hi guys. I'm about to put a 331 stroker in my 89GT. Its going to have airflow research heads on it. Im wondering if the stock valve covers will clear the roller rockers. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
1.7 Crane/Cobras will if you remove the baffle. But... If you're using the stock type breather that connects to the throttle body it may suck a whole lot of oil with the baffle removed. I have removed mine and replaced it with a flat baffle. Once you see the factory baffle you'll know what I'm talking about.
I had zero clearence issues with 1.7 and double stacked gaskets.
Not sure of the part number of the gaskets but I bought them from the Corral's classifieds.
The gaskets came that way from the factory.
