i had nitto 275/30/17 on the back. one went flat and i drove on it not knowing and messed it up. i was going to just buy a used 275 to match the one i have but was thinking maybe of just buying 2 new 310/35/17 but i need to know if they will fit on stock wheels and it they will fit under the rear of my car.

bump for you.... but if you are trying to put a 315 on an 8" stock rim, I think most would say it would lead to a poor fit. 315mm is 12.5". This puts the contact patch roughly 2" beyond the rim edge on both sides. Doesn't sound safe to me.

dont do it... youll have a retarded looking car and the amount of bulge will only give you about the same contact patch as a 275.

Way too much tire and not enough rim at all. Stick with a 275 and you'll have less weight and more traction.

don't do it. the smallest a 315 should go on is a 9 inch wheel.
