I have a 68 Mustang coupe with drum brakes. I picked up a set of custom chrome wheels at a great price and wonder if they will fit. It looks like they will but not sure. They are 5 spoke chrome 17" x 9" with 6" backspace.
My currnt wheels are same except 7.5" or 8" I think and not sure about the backspace becaause they are on the car. Best I can measure on car is about 4" backspace.
I bought the 9" for spares just in case since I got them at such a great price, all 4 with 235x55 tires on them. My tires on the car now are 245x45 rear & 245x35 front will they fit the 9" wheels? A tire chart I found says they will.
