Will this brake system work on an '86GT?

Guys I have completely stock brakes that are torn to ****...need new rotors, drums, pads, calipers...the whole 9 yards...so here's me thinking why not upgrade the whole thing...and this OEM replacement upgrade doesn't look too shabby...I''m wondering what you guys would think I might need to make it work. The Lincoln stuff works great, but finding the stuff may prove to be a pain. I know that NAPA quit stocking the rotors last winter, and I had to special order them from a brake wholesale center. I work for Ford and have very good aftermarket sources.
What I did on my 82 was found a wrecked 96 GT. All from 94-04 would work, and took everything from the front except the steering rack. The control arms have stiffer bushings, the brakes are mucho better, you get 5-lugs, sealed front wheel bearings, and so many more wheel options, it's ridiculous. You'll want to find the disc brake rear axle as well, hopefully on the same car, and use the master cyl as well. You will have to make the lines from the master cyl (metric) to the proportioning valve (standard). Don't use the prop valve from the newer car, as it was designed for ABS and will really screw up the system. I found the 96 at a local salvage yard that was totalled and bought everything for the front end for $250.00 and the rear axle for $300.00. It seems kind of expensive untill you compare it to buying a 5-lug conversion and a disc brake conversion for the rear. I can answer any questions if you want to E-mail me at [email protected]
