Will this clear?

Will this clear pistons and valves? I have trickflow heads with trw pistons. Cam is comp cam, 224int/230exh, .533/.544 lift, 114 lobe seperation.

what are the specs on the pistons? Do they have any relief cuts, are they flat top, domed, what?

You better clay it up, no one can say for sure because every set up is different, it might but than it might not. There is no way to tell over the internet.

The pistons are flat top 4 valve relief. I think they are stock replacement.

If they are stock relpacement, i would think the stage 2 would have some clearance issues, especially running 1.7 rockers (you didnt say which ones)

I would run 1.6 rockers.

You have to measure - no one can tell you; rocker ratio probably won't make a huge difference -- mock it up and measure before you swap ratios.

Max lift occures when the piston is all the way down in the cylinder bore. Duration is more of a telling statistic of p to v clearance then max lift is. I would say if you stay under 230 degrees duration @ .050 you will be ok. But don't just take my word for it... Clay it! I did with my AFR's, and big ol' Comp Cams cam with those pistons, and it was real real close... but it worked.... I think I was a little closer then what people recommend for a "street" application, but it worked.
