Will this fit?

Hey guys
I am new to my 88 5.0L

I have a 1988 5.0L HO, with a 5 speed
it's the LX hatchback style

I would like to pick up one of those mini starters................now

this is what the seller told me "This starter will fit 5.0 - 351w w/t-5 or AOD"

So does that mean it will fit?

if they said it will fit a 5.0 and a 351 then yes it should fit your 5.0

You have a 5.0, they said it would fit a 5.0. Sounds like a go.

Do a search on mini stater - the wiring is different, but not hard to fix. You have to moves some of the starter wiring around a little.

yep...I have one and wired it up wrong and blew the solonoid, so read the instructions carefully and search on here if you have questions. Also, be sure to unplug your battery...new solonoids for the mini-starter are $35, so you don't want to ground it out and blow the solonoid that way....I did that too
