Well, I'm running H/C/I on stock ignition (mods in sig). So I was thinking of an MSD 6AL setup. My bday is coming, so should I go for it? I figure it would help with any roughness as well as make the motor run better overall. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah go for it, it wont hurt and will be good for future upgrades ( supercharger!). But I would get the Crane HI-6,I have had both and the Crane outperformed, and outlasted the MSD everytime... IMO.

i think the digital 7 ignition box is on sale up here in canada for like 280 bucks. thats like 240 -250 USD. doesn't seem 2 expensive i would rather go for that or the digital 6 then a 6AL box.

I wouldnt get one. Stock ignition is very good on the 5.0s. I had a Crane for years and it never did anything for me.

If you had a supercharger or turbo I would say yes.

If you have to get one, go Digital 6. Much better than the 6AL.

I was just gonna be able to get a 6AL for $100 new...not sure if I should get it or just save the money
