will this mass air work?

My cuz just asked me if a mass air meter out of a ford taurus sho work for an 87 stang... got the new wiring harness and need a mass air meter. Also what size injectors is it calibrated for? Thanks!

What year is the SHO? If it has the standard 5.0L engine it should work as far as the meter goes, and they came with a 19# inj (Orange) stock.

actually it has the 24v V6 and we weren't sure what they had ... i heard they're peppy cars so we just thought it might be 19lb injector calibrated cuz the mass air connector looked the same. and yea did u see the pics of my car smacked up a bit ... note to self dont drive a stang in the snow or you'll hit a pine tree and a telephone pole. u have a nice holiday too

Yeah that meter will not work, different EEC.
