I'm running 1/2" intake spacer and the factory metal tubing for the egr will not be long enough not to mention it is a pain to work around, i.e. I will need to adjust my rocker arms & retorque my heads after an inital warm up. So, can I just cut a section out and run high-temp silicon hose w/clamps instead? Has anyone else run this hose? The manufacturer claims it can withstand up to 400 degrees F. THX
