I have 16 inch pony wheels with the futura stock tires on it and I am buying the 16 inch mickey thompson et streets from summit and I want to know if they will fit on my pony wheels. the tires on my car now at 225/55-16 and the mickey thompson's are 255-50-16. are they going to fit?
I run that exact same tire mounted on ponywheels on my lowered 89 they fit perfect. I don't no why the other guy would'nt recomend it. They made a major difference on my car. NO NITTO FOR ME..
What I meant was I wouldn't use a tire that is basically a slick with a few straight threads put in them so they will meet DOT approval on a car that would be seeing a fair amount of street miles. They would not be safe in the rain or during hard cornering.
