This is the strongest hurricane EVER recorded with pressure dropping into the low 880mb.

Nah..Orland should be ok. Even if it does come farther norht then Miami or Dade, like into us (bradenton) by the time it crosses land, it will die down. It becoming a 5 so early I guess is a good thing, it slows down faster and rarely holds a 2 or 3 by the time it reaches land. It is forecasted so far to hit south, but the longer it travels west BEFORE it turns will make it hit farther north...meaning us! If it stays on track, we will just get rain. Hope you guys down south more fare ok through it. But these stupid things have a mind of their own. They can change at a moments notice. By the time they do, it is too late to leave. We have 3 cars, clothes and personal items in one, same as two, and dogs in car three. I could never leave my dogs! The roads will be packed. Guess I am in a panic!!!!!!

It will be ok for me.......just woryy about you guys farther south.

Aint found a place for the stang yet. No trees over head, but flying debris is a worry. Maybe I should find a nice big tree-leaning! Just kidding. Anyone want to buy my car yet>>>>????

If this damn thing holds it's status, I'm not going to dip I'm going to haul ass. Well I have to get the stang running right first if not I'm stuck down here. In that case I'll load up on bullets and food and hold down the fort.

I cant believe how strong this thing has gotten.

Those of us in central florida are gonna get some heavy rain and high winds as well. I guess it is supposed to move through quickly though according to current predictions.

Im thinking its gonna hit further notrh then miami Dade county. That thing is huge and its gonna start picking up speed. I lived In Pompano beach when andrew hit when i was a kid. That was a crazy storm... Im not planning on leaving the area im just looking at where i have to store my stang.

I was at an international fraternity thing last school year and was talkin to some guys from an FLA chapter and they asked how we dealt with the snow and how much that must suck for New England...
