window motors

The car we bought for mustang transfusion is a wireing nightmare.

anybody know where i could find some window motors. I need new ones, both of them are shot. Or i could just not be testing them right to. Whats a proper way to test them?

apply power to the 2 wires going directly to the motor. (+ and -) Window should either go up or down,as long as the motor's not shot.

Are you in St. Albert or Regina?Buck's in Regina has a 87-89 ish Mustang and a couple of older ones but I don't remember if any had power windows.Like Russ said, the switch just reverses the voltage so if you hook a battery directly to the motor wires then one way it goes up and if if you reverse the wires it goes down.Watch out when you remove the motor as the window regulator can snap shut like a big pair of scissors if you aren't careful.
