I know yall have heard this a thousand times, and I did some searching and didnt' find any thing clear cut. Basically the window motor makes sound, but the window doesn't move, you have to pull it up or down. Now, is this the gear or something in there that broke and not the window motor itself?? I don't want to spend 80 dollars if that isn't the problem.

rebuild the window motor. It has urethane pieces inside it that fall apart. Pull the motor take it apart and rebuild it, the pieces are like 3$ and located in the help isle in autozone usually.

Have you pulled the door panel to see if the window did not come off the track? Not sure how it would do that, but stranger things have happened.

your gonna find chewed up bushings.....if it is making kind of a clunking noise while you hear the motor turning that is what it is.

There used to be a write-up in the FAQ but I'm not sure if it's still around or there are any pics. Here's a link that seems to have the narrative but no pics:

Me and my brother were supposed to change it out tomorrow, be he went ahead and did it today to suprise me. Sure enough, the bushings were toast. But the window works great again.

I just fixed my driver side and driver side rear on my vert. Good learning experience considering I had to take out the whole rear. Never done that before. Alls well now.
