Window problem

I have had this problem ever since I bought the car. What happens is if I someone closes the door hard enough to make it latch when the window is more than half way rolled down the window pops out of the track and I cant roll it up or down anymore. If I pull the panel and take off the window motor I can put the window back into the track and it works like its supposed to. I normally just roll the window up before someone closes the door, but sometimes an occasional pot hole will do it too. Is there any adjustment I can make or what? pulling the door panel to fix this is getting really old.

Wish I could help, but I've never heard of that problem. Mine rattle around a lot when they're down and you close the door, but they don't fall off the track. Is there anything visibly broken, like a roller or a bushing?

Is there supposed to be felts or rubber inside the track to keep the window from escaping? My problem stems from the window being bounced around and then it jumps the track which causes the motor to bind.

I'd have to tear my door apart and look. Maybe someone with their door apart already can chime in.

Mine rattle too, but I've never had them jump off track. Does the other door work ok? I'd say pull the panel off of it if it does and carefully watch them both travel through their cycles, looking very closely for any in discrepencies.
