Wingless people (wingless cars anyway)

I think these cars look a lot better without the wing, so I took mine off today. But when I did, a small amount of the paint came off with it, right where it sits on the decklid. So now I have to have the wing on, or run around showing people what the factory primer looks like.
I was just curious if anyone else had this happen to them.

This really sucks for me because I was going for this look:

im looking for a v6 to swap trunks with just because of that.

I had to come and say nice title.. It made me laugh.

But can't yo ujust get it repainted for cheap? I was quoted $100 for a repaint on the trunk lid. And it would probably be cheaper if you sand it yourself (and even fill in the holes for the wing)

I took my spoiler off after the first few months of bying my stang from the dealer,so mine didn't chip or even leave a mark,and i just plugged the holes for the summer,and once winter of '04 came,i sent the decklid out to get filled,and painted.

That silver stang on the left has a Cobra wing on it if you didn't know, but that sucks about the paint coming off. Cheap ass ford paint.

I love being wingless...yup damn the ford paint, I took chunks off mine when i moved my wing....120$$ for a full repaint on the trunk..Maco...not too shabby

that cobra up there is junior2581... he painted my roush lip and his shop did my quarter panel repair and rear bumper paint.,. he did that car himself... very cool dude...

Maybe its just cuz I have been drinking but it looks white to me ><
