I have a '95 Cobra.. And I just purchased a Vortech S-Trim to slap on the car.. So far, this is my list of mods in short

Balanced 306 w/ JE 9:1 Internals & H-Beam's.. TW Heads, Track Heat Intake, S-Trim waiting to be installed, Spec 2, All bolt ons... and a Tremec 3550

NOW... About that 3550 trans...

While shifting 1-2-3-4-5; it is perfect... Couldn't ask for better.

ONLY when I'm downshifting from 4-3, it gives me a lot of grief letting me into gear. Not that its grinding... but it just wont let me in. If i ACT like I am bringing it from 4-2-3... Then its just fine!

Is this the signs of a bad/bent shift rail/fork? Should I rip this sucker out and get a rebuild/replace it?

does that at all rpm?

for me, if it shift perfectly....

you dont have a bent or wrong part it this thing...

At any speed/RPM, the car gives me grief going from FOURTH to THIRD.

That is the only gear that gives me trouble though, I can't make sense of it..
