Wiper blade humps...any ideas?

My wipers have been screwed for a long time and I'm sick of it! I've changed blades and all and I can't seem to get it flat, which of course doesn't get the water off where the bottom of the blade goes and really sucks. Does it look like something is screwed up? I messed w/ it a while ago and just left it alone and dealt with it. I haven't messed w/ it lately, but I took this picture the other day to post up and get suggestions. Anyone had this problem? I'll mess w/ it tomorrow probably.

You putting in refills? I just buy the whole blade, snap it on and go. Just put new Anco's on the other day.

My best freind lives in Spfld. I lived there for about 5 years. Spent an entire year of my life street racing my old 91 LX 5.0 vert. around there, especially down at last light. Ah, those were the days.

i cant make out the pic completely. are the refills the right size?
if all else fails, go spend a few bucks more and get new arms (not the entire arm, but the part that pivots on the arm from the motor). you know what i mean.

thanks guys...I'm pretty sure it's the right size because I bought the left and right ones at the same time and the right one works just fine. Guess i'll buy the new blade arm thing

Screw wiper blades. Get some RainX and be done with it. I only use my wipers on the lowest interval setting, and that's only when the car is sitting still and the wind doesnt blow the rain drops off.

So true. Driving in the rain without Rain-X just plain sucks. Every window on my car is Rain-Xed. Buy some new wipers, not refills, apply some rain-x and be you will be able to drive under the hardest rainstorm. When everyone else pulls over to wait for the rain to calm down because they can't see, you'll drive by them and be able to see clear as day

i think it depends upon the climate one lives in (and how long the car sits in the elements each day, etc), as well as how many layers there are.

in Seattle, i used to put 2 layers on and it was good for several months.

I used that on my 2000 GT (haven't applied on my current car) and I don't think I ever technically needed to use the wipers though I did...it works great...

I would buy some new "arms" as Hissin stated and get some nice quality wiper blades with some RainX and you will smile when it starts to rain

hah dude its as if you took a picture of my passenger side arm, its always been bent, never worked..... how much would an entire arm cost? and how would u go about installing it, is it easy?

I RainX my car after every wash. I don't wash my car very often because it's not much for a paintjob, it's more to wash off the dust and mud from driving in the country.

One tip though....DO NOT!!!!! RAINX YOUR WIPERS!!! Man i made this mistake on my Jeep and i paid for it bad. If you rainx your windshield AND your wipers, and by that i mean just wipe down the wiper blades with the Rainx, it's a bad combo. My wipers wouldnt slide accross the glass anymore, they caught on it like drag radials or something and jumped accross the glass really bad with a "bbblblblblblblblbl" kind of noise...lol I had to replace the blades to make it stop.
