I just bought a 92 fox body that someone had recently broke into and tried to steal.
They broke the steering lock and clipped the ignition harness to hot-wire the car. They where caught in the act and ran off.
I hooked up a battery and began to start testing the wires to rig the car to run on toggles. I isolated 2 power wires and put them to the side. Long story short before i could do anymore wiring they arched and welded themselves to the steering column. I quickly pulled them off but it has done some damage somewhere. Alot of smoke came from the starter solenoid area but i couldn't find anything wrong. There isnt power to these wires now.
I couldn't find a wiring diagram to trace the wires and find either a broken wire, fuse, relay or something. Please help! THANKS!
