What years are the wiring harness plug and play compatable, i bought a 90 gt and it needs a harness are they specific to a 90 or will a 89-90 work i know a 91-93 are specific to themselves? Thanks

86-88 = speed density, two plugs at brake booster??
88 california, 89 = mass air, two plugs at brake booster
90 = mass air with airbags, two plugs at brake booster
91-92 = mass air with airbags, one plug at brake booster
93 = mass air with airbags, one plug at brake booster, relay module on p/s shock tower

so yes, you need a 90 harness. it's a one-year-only thing. :nonono:
you can use an 89 if youre removing the airbag system (race only please)
anything else will be a LOT of work to rewire

To my knowledge, the airbag system doesn't interface with the EECIV. So if you're talking about replacing the fuel injection system harness than the only thing that matters is having the correct plugs in the right places. The chasis (electrical system) harness is a different matter entirely.

Good Luck!

I know the airbags dont interface with the EEC but i dont know if the plugs to the body harness are the same i dont want to splice anything at all this time, i jsut want plug and play. Thanks guys

I just put a 90 into a 90 and it was plug and play...but I did have to splice to keep the 2.3 fan controller running my electric fan, and to have it work with the a/c, and all that.

I remember a while ago, I had an 89 harness that would have worked, but some doofus cut off the EGR, TAB, TAD, and A/C LPS connectors. So I had to sell it cuz it was pretty much race-only. But yes, it would have worked.
