Im putting a stock engine/ecu harness back in my 86 gt 5.0 and there's two wires im confused about. I got off craigslist and its supposed to be from an 86gt but a few wires are different. In the pics you can see theres a long wire that originates next to the 60 pin connector that is like 5 feet long and I have no idea where that goes? I believe some of the models had this plug for the fuel pump relay maybe? Also the the other two plastic plugs (1 clear with light blue/green wires, 1 black w red wires) are from the old harness that plug into that gray thing by the clutch but my new harness doesn't have them...are they important? Im guessing the harness I got is from an automatic and since mine is manual theres an extra plug...since we have manual clutches this must be a sensor of some kind but is it necessary?
