Wiring question for mod motor conversion....

Hey guys, i am in the process of putting a sn95 dash in my 88 fox with the mod motor conversion. All of the body wireing and dash are from a v6 that i just purchased. The computer harness that comes out of the firewall, can i use that for a v8? or do i have to buy the 4.6 computer harness? I have the cobra computer and pats is already disabled on it, same with the imrc option. I just want to make sure that this v6 computer harness is gonna work for my v8 and it isnt gonna fry my computer.

The V8 definately has a different harness than the V6 does.

have any one of you guys ever swapped a v6 to a v8? i know someone has. i just retrofitted the dash in my fox today... the body harness is next. i will need to know soon, before i install the under hood harness.... someone help me PLEEEEASE!!
