I want to set up an extra 2 accessory plugs (cigarette lighter plugs). Does anyone know how this would work?

What I really want to do is put the power in the arm rest box. So I was thinking about wiring off the existing one in front of the shifter. But I don't know whether it should be wired in serial or parallel. I am guessing parallel. Anyone know?

If not, are there kits to do this?

you can wire the new ones up separately (sourcing power from another circuit altogether) or use the existing circuit. tap power from the existing outlet and run it to the new outlets (be sure to install an inline fuse).

depending upon what you want to power, the vert harness is right under the console - you could use that as key-on power for your new outlets. Just be careful with your wiring and use fuses. I would want outlets with covers so that change cant be accidentally dropped in the outlets (which often will short out the circuit).

good luck.
