I read that some used Wolfecraft, and I'v already have the through floor SFCs installed. The problem is Wolfe wants about 1000.00 for the cage.I would like it to fit without any cutting or notching just a hand&weld deal.?
heard comp engineering garbage?
Is there other cages that will fit like the Wolfe?hear their the best.

Any opinions?

I would recommend Chris Alston's Chassisworks. Fits beautifully and they have amazing tech support.

i have a wild rides 8 point that is welded to the wolfe sub frame connectors . I ordered a cage from wolfe but I never got it. There was some hold up on their end and they kept saying it will go out next week. But after 3 months of that I just got my money back, and ordered mine form wildrides. I have heard that wolfe is the best hold and weld cage you can buy. I just lack patience. The Wild cage is pretty good to and they shipped right away. I messed up and ordered the low slung door bars, and then found out they are not track legal. Live and learn. I can't remember what I paid for it but it was pretty much hold and weld except for I had to trim the bottm to fit my sub connectors.

Chassisworks (Chris Alston's Chassisworks, Inc.) has some of the best cages that I've ever seen, but then I suppose I'm biased. I don't believe they have hold and weld packages but it would probably be worth a look. Or simply give them a jingle.

I would recommend you let the guy who welds it in place do all of the necessary cutting and notching.

That is not unreasonable at all, but you would be better off taking it to somebody because a lot of people don't want to have to bring all their equipment out to someone's place to weld.

By Dave's Cages I believe that he is referring to David Wolfe.

yes david wolf...Wolfe Race Craft - Home Page ............. if your taking it to a place with the interior out and can reinstall it your self, look to spend around 2000 with them doing al the labor to remove weld and install the interior you should be around 2800-3400. There is no such thing as reasonable when it comes to welding its done right or its done wrong. Go to a chassis shop and have it done right!

Roll Cage:

My brother found a iron worker on the job site to Tig my cage together for 50hr I think that is more reasonable. From what told guy does real good work figure it has to be since he does the sway bars in buildings downtown Chicago . Anyway I bought the cage from Wolfe looking back now wish S&W was my weapon of choice. My buddy bought an S&W cage for a Talon and is fully notched for half the price also fitting snug. Wolfe cage is not notched (can be for additional 350.00)also uneven bars all must be cut to fit.Probably better off with Comp Eng HAHA.

Sub Frames:

Diver side fit perfectly minimal grooming. As for the passenger the sub frame fit had to do extensive work to sub frame itself to correct the issue.

No turning back now.... I will post pictures of finished product this Monday.

Sorry,Wofle I wouldn't do business with again,and wouldn't spend 3,000 to do a cage.

I have a S and W cage, fit pretty good after some cutting to length and notching. 10 point was about $300 to my door. My buddy has a wolfe cage and it fits really well but he had to wait quite a while for it.
