I have them in my car. I thought there would be more to them then what I got. They come pretty close to finished, but you still have to grind some to make them fit. Really through the floor subframe connectors are the way to go. They are really good. I just think you can make them your self for a whole lot cheaper. I paid $225.00 for mine. Just look at the pictures on their site and you get the idea. I put the connectors and a six point cage from Wild Rides in at the same time so now my car is super stiff. I had ordered a cage from Wolfe, but after waiting two months for them to start making it,I canceled my order for the cage. And got it from WildRides. Wolfe did send the connectors right away however.

I talked to wild rides about SFC and they where talking like the through the floor set up is not necessary unless your going insanely fast in the quarter.

Any thoughts, I'm confused now. I don't want to waste money on this if I don't really need it. BTW I'm trying to set up my car to be a 1/8 mile 6.0 car.

Thanks

Yeah, they are good people to deal with...shipping isn't bad either, considering they are offering a 20% discount right now.

Are these connectors a must for a street/strip car? I'd say no, the maximum motorsport full lengths would be a great addition and aren't through the floor. If you want them cheaper, get with ArtsPerformance...his are pretty close to the MM. Plus he can get you the MM cheaper if you go with them.

With these Wolfe's, the kickout bars make a nice foundation for the main hoop of the rollbar/cage if/when you go that route.

I'm defiantly getting a cage installed at the same time. I'm looking at wild rides 8 point cage, I'm hoping to get some more feed back from Joey7508 on his cage or any body else for that matter.

The wildrides cage is great. I paid the extra and had it notched to save me the trouble. It fit together really well. The shipped it out right away. I was very pleased with them. I made the mistake of ordering the street version of the door bars not realizing at the time that they are not track legal because they don't cross the arm between the shoulder and elbow. All the same its a great quality cage. I mounted mine to the Wolfe race craft connectors so I had to trim the tubing some on the bottom, but I think it would have gone in with out any triming if I put it on the plates they send with it.
I just liked the idea of the through the floor connectors. Just ties every thing together alot tighter and does give you a place to ancor the cage other than just 6x6 plates. As long as I was going to have the interior out and my welder plugged in for the cage I figured what the hell.

How bad was shipping on that wild rides kit?

Any body used S&W....i see there 10 point mild steel is like $250. They say they are notched where applicable...but compared to like $620 or so for the exact fit wild rides!

for a street car, i like the steeda full length subframes because they have the lower torque box reinforcement. For my current car, I would like to try the thru floor sfc myself.

Heres some progress pics i've been meaning to put up. Also, try not to cut to much out of the floor pan...since it gets welded to the connector. I did in a couple places, but i cut some filler panels out of the removed pieces.

In the last pic, it isn't finished welded yet but you get the idea. Pics of the other side are in my sig link. Next up is are the torque boxes and cage.

One other thing is on the front kick out bars of the sub frame connectors check to see where the door bar lands up front before you cut the floor. The connectors come with instructions for where they want you to cut and weld them in, but the measurements are for wolfes cage not wildrides.
