wolfe race craft through floor subframe connectors

I actually have a question about the sfc's , i'm thinking about doing this, i hear its a tough job, And that most people lift the car in the air before welding them in, but i read further into it, and ppl say not to do it because it effects the way the car sits... So what is what?

One other thing is on the front kick out bars of the sub frame connectors check to see where the door bar lands up front before you cut the floor. The connectors come with instructions for where they want you to cut and weld them in, but the measurements are for wolfes cage not wildrides.

Thanks for lookin out. I didn't think about that. :nice:

You do want to keep the full weight of the car on the suspention. I sure one of the other guys can give better detail on this.

Yeah you want to keep the weight on the suspension and have the car as level as possiable. If you have a drive on lift thats easy. I did not so i had the front wheels on drive on style ramps and jack stands on the rear axle. You are in side the car just as much as you are under it so it was easy enough.
I am running the factory fuel lines for now and on the instructions for the wolfe connectors they want you to just bend the lines over them, but I drive mine on the street alot and was afraid the lines would get pinched at some point being that low. So I notched and welded the points where the lines crossed so that they lines would be flush with instead of on top the connector. Then I riveted a piece of aluminum strap across the gap to hold the lines up and out of the way.
