Just did a mass air conversion on my 88 5.0 - Fresh stock engine was running great before conversion. I used the mass-air.com wiring kit and followed the directions. I also added a GT40 intake w/ BBK 70mm TB & EGR spacer, C&L 76mm MAF calibrated for the new 42lbs injectors, Aeromotive fuel regulator and in tank Walbro 255 high pressure(3440). (42 lbs injectors and pump are because I'm running a vortex V1 S-trim superchager) - A9P ECU (may have been from a modded car.
PROBLEM:
The weird thing is the engine does starts up and sounds good so I think I have all the pin outs and wiring correct but... when I try to start it back up after about 5 restarts or when it gets hot it just spins over and floods out - I can smell the raw gas. I checked and it does have good spark.
Any idea's or direction ??
