i went through the cranks but wont start checklist thing and got to the part where i check the red wire to the injectors for 12v and i only have 3.66v with the key at run. can anyone tell me where to go from here?
are you sure the voltage is ok? i only have 3.6v and i thought it was supposed to be 12v. Yes, i have spark, and the pump is running and i have pressure.
I'd trace the fuel injector wiring harness, clean the 10 pins, check them for continuity (make sure the pins are aligning), etc if the injectors are the only thing showing a voltage drop.
I'm sure JR will pop in with the polished reply, but those are my crude thoughts.
The red wire is common to the EGR vacuum regulator, smog pump TAB & TAD solenoids
and the low coolant light. Check any one of those for 12 volts. If they show 12 volts,
the 10 pin connector is suspect. If not, the EEC relay its power wiring is suspect.
