I recently bought a car with a 88 mustang engine inside of it or what i believe is a 88 the person who sold it to me didnt know what his son did to it. but anyways it cranks but doesent turn over, yet with starting fluid it starts and runs perfectly fine after. if anyone could help me understand why id appreciate that

its a 89 mustang engine i just got that figured out but i still dont know why it wont start on its own

My 89 mustang engine cranks but will not start unless i use starter fluid on it

i can, it runs perfectly fine once it’s started off starter fluid but wont start without it

Can you dump codes and see if any are stored?

Does it no want to start hot or both hot and when engine is cold?

It doesent want to start at all, these are the codes i got while it was off. I havent got codes while it was running cause its straight piped and i have tons of neighbors but i will get them tomorrow.
