took the car out for a spin Fri. and went to 94 to the in-laws. While on the way back home later. The wife who is following me sees the mustang wanting to get over and lets them over. I let them catch up to see its a 99-04 GT with a saleen body kit or a saleen we kinda had a bit of a run and it was preaty evenish. We get to the next light but it changed before we got to stop and from a preaty slow roll, I dont remember if I was in 1st or 2nd (was the top of 1st or start of 2nd at the speed, I remember going back and forth), I pulled about 1 1/2 -2 cars from what I saw and just stayed ahead the whole time and I was granny shifting it as well. The car felt good and I think I need to try a few things in the 4k-5k rpm range to see if there is more power there but it felt good.

Anyway, nice to get a race in the new setup, cannot wait to hook the bottle back up. Not to mention great to get a kill the first time out.

I found alot of realy good info on fullsizebronco.com, I have not touched the bronco since last Oct. I am going to sell it as soon as I get my rear in gear. If I dont sell it I want to do the swap still, found 4 np435 4spds for 250 complete removed from a local yard so may go that route. However, I just wanna see if I can sell it as I dont have the time/space/money right now to get it were I want it.

That and job hunting

She was trained well by her father, he still has his 1970 Buick GSX stage 1.

Hope to get it back to the dyno and track soon, well as soon as a non 80% humid. 90* day comes around.

Oh man those things were beasts! 455s pure grunt. I wish Buick still made muscle cars, when they did they were pretty good at it. Don't forget the wildcat either, nobody seems to remember that monster either. Of course the Grand National gnX was awesome too.

My dad use to own a Wildcat and he always raved about it. He said he could pull the front wheels but I always thought he was exagerrating.

A 1970 wildcat put down 510 pounds of torque at like 3000 rpms... that can definately rip the front wheels up, he's serious.

I'm such a buick fanatic, they have made some really nice cars over the years.
