Ok the title was just a joke but, I have a stick shift 93 coupe that had a stock shortblock with AFR 185"s, a 536" lift cam, Trick Flow R-series intake,355 gears and full exhaust. The car had an old school Powerdyne BD-10 blower that made only 5lb's of boost. The car went as fast as 11.50's @124mph with 1.8 60ft times and no powershifting. The car has 100% stock suspension with the exception of lowering springs. I might be way off base here but I thought that that was fairly quick considering the stock suspension limited 60ft times. Which brings me to the point...does anybody know of any BD-10/BD-11 powered cars that were much quicker than this? I recently read an old article in MMFF about a hatchback BD-11 powered car that went like 11.80's with a quicker 60ft and they referenced it as (i'm going off memory for the article quotes)"possibly one of the quickest powerdyne powered cars in the country". The article just got me curious about my car since it was quicker. Thanks!

Well he does have a pretty large HCI setup on there. All the supporting mods + 5 lbs of boost would make some decent power.

But i do agree those speeds are huge! Well done man.

No, I never had the car dyno'd. Yeah, it's funny but my buddies thought it was a mistake about the mph untill they saw me make more passes and it kept running that mph. People couldn't believe how good this thing ran with a 100% stock ignition and fuel lines either. I'd like to find out more about any of the possible 10sec powerdyne cars if anyone has any info about them or possible magazine articles of them. Thanks.

It has a 190lph bbk in tank pump, 30lb injectors and and aeromotive adj pressure regulator with the fuel pressure set to 48psi(with vacuum tube off). Stock fuel lines and fuel rails. I came up with the fuel pressure setting by using a fuel calculator on the MustangWorks web site(www.MustangWorks.com). Other than that, no tuning.
