Just watched a show on the History channel about the most powerful Marine Diesel Engine. Made by B&W. Up to 14 cyl, has a 3' bore and a 10' stroke, the rods are as big as my F250. Runs at an ear scorching 94 rpm, has 3 turbos that are bigger than my house and makes 108,000 hp. Pushes a 95,000 ton(190,000,000 lbs) shipping barge at 30 knots.

This is the best pic I could find of it. Its 40' tall and 65' long.

If that shipping barge shed a couple thousand tons, it could get into the 12's.

My brain can hardly concieve 5 million ft/lb of torque. That could move literally just about anything ON Earth aside from mountains. You could pull down skyscrapers and buildings with that much power. Think of the burnout you could achieve with 5 million ft/lb of torque!!
