well first off i am new here but have read this board for awhile now. everyone seems like my kind of people in here. its amazing to see a board where very lil flaming goes on and sound tech advice occurs. which brings me to my dilemma. i put together my trickflow top end kit about a year ago with a buddy. put very lil miles on this car since the kit was added. i know all of you guys are very familiar with the kit. i have the street version specifically. at any rate, most of you are aware that the street version springs arent exactly the best and if you have a very aggressive foot like me, you can float them. i purchased the track heat upgrade spring kit because i figure hey, if i am putting on new springs might as well upgrade right? anyways i tear the necessary parts of ie the upper intake and valve covers, and spark plugs. this is where i think my worries are. apparently when me and my friend put this thing together, we prolly made an oversight on the antiseize when putting in the spark plugs. i took these out because i am gonna fill the cyl with air to change the spring in case u guys are are wondering. they all came out some much easier then others, but some of them had very trace amounts of aluminum on them? has anyone ever had this happen and end being really screwed? they have very lil miles on them, and have been in approx a year. do i need to start crying right now? god i promise to saturate them with antiseize when they go back in. may i add though that a few guys at my work actually said dont antiseize them so who knows. sorry for the long post but i am sure any of you guys that have expensive aluminum heads can relate. i jus dont want this to become a freakin project.
