Its a 90 LX that is stock except Flowmasters, a FRPP clutch, cable, quadrent and a Steeda short throw.
Problems; Heater core and 194K miles. Thats it.
No rust or dents, is it worth $4000? Hes asking 4600 and said hed take off 200 for the heater core. Figured I could get another $400 off

That's a GT to LX conversion. Have the VIN decoded.

Hmm, looks pretty darn clean for 194K

Still..miles are high. I would think more like $3000-3500

I was completely digging it until you gave me the mileage. Then again, if it's as clean as it looks in the pics, mileage may not matter...

I'm torn

I know, the thing is rediculously clean! Guy said hes had it for three years and has just done regular maintenance. He said the heater core just happend this weekend when he was cleaning the car he noticed the water. He said it was fresh and pulled the seat out to get all the watter then sit open for a couple days. He said its dry now and he bypassed the core.

These have to have the dash come out to replace that dont they?

He said the car doesnt leak anywhere except the valve cover on the drivers side but its not enough to drip on the ground, only the exhaust. The A/C still blows cold and you can see its still R-12 fittings not R-134a.

It's a 2500 dollar car. It's been repainted also.

The heater core job isn't quite as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Once you have that dash clear, its basically in and out if I remember right? But who am I to say... I did my core when I had my interior completely gutted... so my dash wasn't even in the car

I also would try to talk to the guy down if you really want the car. It looks good, even with the mileage. Good luck.

I'd buy that car for 4000. May have high miles, but its black, nice wheels, black interior, clean, no rust. Thats worth 4000 in my book. And its worth much more in my market. I'm jealous of the price of vehicles in the states.

When I go to buy a Ranger I'm importing it.

what do you mean gt to lx conversion? just cause of the seats? i noticed that too. IMO the wheels and shape of the paint and interior color and seats, and the number of pedals in the car make it worth it to me. i say go for it.

I would give $4000 for it. It is a very nice car. and IMO very well taken care of. The interior is also quite nice. thats a big selling factor for me.

and as far as th milage goes, i really dont care about that because more than likely im gong to build a motor for it anyways. and so what if they where high. That doesnt meen its going to fall apart.

I'd pay 4 for it. rebuild the engine and it would prolly sell for closer to 6k.
