I have decided on the cam choice and it will make some people mad...stock. I want the most driveability so I'm keeping the stock cam and for other reasons. I have the AFR 165's and my cobra intake is being ported as we speak. I will be using a 1.7 RR with Longtubes.
My question is should I upgrade the fuel pump and put in 24# injectors?

with the 1.7 rockers, you can becomes a bit more agressive. not a bad choice

as for the 19s(they should be sufficent), i would go with 24s, maybe even 30s.... talk to Mike.

24s will probably would help you at the high rpms but 19s might get you by. You will need to up your fuel pressure a few psi if you keep the 19s though.

with a stock cam 19lb injectors should be enough. 24lb would be a better choice for future mods and defiently dont need 30lb unless you plan to put a blower on. your fuel pump could use an upgrade to maybe a 155lph. and a fuel pressure regulator to bump up your fuel will also help out on the top end

i would go with 24's just to be safe. 30's would probably be overkill at this point.

true, but you know how when you start a project, it never finishes the way that it started

Yes 30's would be overkill...do not get those...I have them with a more aggressive setup than yours...

Get 24's if you can spring for the price. They would be ideal for your combo and needs...

A 190lph fuel pump would be suffice but if your going with any kind of power adder in the future go ahead and get the 255lph fuel pump.

If you do keep the 19's get an AFPR and bump up the psi with the vaccum line disconnected.

Good Luck

Since he has decided what he is going to do you need to get the supporting parts selected for that combo. 24lb injectors.

The 24's will support a h/c/i on a stock bottom end...whether it be a AFR/FTI combo or Thumper/tmoss combo...

Dan, 19's like I said last night and use a 255 pump. Unless you grow balls and put a cam in and make some power with those $1300 heads J/k pal..Well, maybe not
