Would a GT factory h-pipe swap into an LX 5.0? (Just for emissions tests)

So yea, would this work, my buddy just sold his LX 5.0 and it didn't pass emissions and he's still liable to fix it for the guy he sold it to, so I told him he could borrow my factory h-pipe from my 93GT, but are they different? Thanks in advance.

Alright cool, I just wasn't sure because I'd always thought when you order off-road h-pipes or any h-pipe for that matter you have to specify LX or GT right?

LX and GT exhaust is identical, except for the tail pipes.

the only difference between the lx and gt are the body kits. which is why the tips are difference
