yup, im planning on putting a trak-lok in my 00 panther. get a 31 spline trak lok off of ebay, around $50, and get some axles from moser, you can use 4.10s, im getting 3.73s. o, make sure that you get a police interceptor driveshaft and the tailshaft housing extension. the police aluminum driveshaft, MMX, is lighter and fairly inexpensive from the ford dealer.
Yes. All the internals are the same for the 8.8's. Just make sure you get a carrier with the right # of splines for the axle shafts. They are either 28 or 31, depending on what it's for. Trucks,SUV's,03&04 Cobra's have 31 splines, 04 and prior Mustang GT's and 01 and prior Cobra's come with 28's.
