Would like some opinions on new wheels

Hey guys, I'm looking to purchase some new wheels this summer to replace the stockers. I'm definitely going to go with a staggered setup (17x9/17x10.5 or 18x9/18x10). It would set off my car a lot, and would compliment the Cobra brakes with the 10th anniv. calipers. I don't tend to go for black with a polished lip, but any suggestions are appreciated. I was thinking of getting 18" FR500s in silver and having them painted satin black (lip painted, as well). Anyways, here's a picture of my car to give you guys an idea. Post pics if you have them! :nice:

I know you said no black w/ a polished lip. So i am assuming you are gonna do what The dude with the silver GT did to his?(sorry man can't think of name). Maybe someone can photoshop it for you. FR's look really good IMHO. The internet makes them seem played but there's only one other dude around here with them that i know of, and i think he got rid of them:shrug:

... my car is also black but i got bullits in 10.5 and kept the stockers up front (cant tell they are bullits out back) check my album i dunno how to post pics i cant do anything on a computer except order go fast goodies!!!

georgio440- i know you said u dont usually like black wheels but i think the fr500's in black 18' would look amazing on your car. black on black. Or even 18' black saleen wheels. tha would look mean as hell!!!! just my opinion

To be honest man, i think the stockers look pretty sweet on your car already. Almost everyone has aftermarket rims nowadays. And ... maybe it is just on the web that it seems played out, but i still wouldnt be impressed to see FR500s or bullits ona car in real life. The only rim i would move to would be 18" S Styles in Silver, not chrome. But theyre a bit expensive. I think the stockers give your car a kinda gritty GT look... i dont know if that makes sense to anyone else haha but i like it the way it is. Your almost stock looking, but youve got some customizations, thats the way to go about it. Take the 1k and spend it on performance.

I dont know how performance necessary the wider rims are though.
