i never bought the header to mid pipe gasket and now it seems i should have bought it...i can hear it leaking on the passesnger side when i go through the gears..

i was looking around for some and a few of the ones i found said not to be used with long tube headers. this one doesnt say that

96-04 GASKET, EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO INTERMEDIATE PIPE, RH, 4.6L MUSTANG

if this is the wrong one or if you all know of a better gasket let me know.. thanks!

I'd wait for at least one or two more people to ring in before you buy just in case!

no it would hurt, there's no gasket needed due to the style of connector on the drivers side.

My mac o/r h leaks alot even after using the ford crush gasket. Do yourself a favor and use good amounts of copper RTV while you're down there putting the new gasket in place.

Posted via Mobile Device ah cool..thanks! that only reason i was wondering about putting one on the drivers side was cause i could feel a tiny puff of air coming out from the connection when i put my hand over it
