Yep, folks it's another one of "those threads". Last night I was leaving the gym and going through an area when they had been performing construction for a few months now. So, the roads weren't in the best of shape (ie: pot holes, muddy, gravel, etc. ). Well, I was driving through and when I shifted into second the rear end kicked side ways. I managed to bring it back but I brought it back too far and it went sideways the other way. At this point, I'm freaking trying to control this thing and then it went right again and spun me around.

Ended up hitting a construction site trailor's wooden steps... pics to come. It's in pretty bad shape from what I can see. I wasn't going too fast so I'm positive it's all cosmetic. But it just had to be the infamous passenger rear 1/4. Woo hoo.

Well, it would probably be enough to total it. But I'm not running it under insurance because I've only got liability.

Anyone make the rear quarters???

Hey man - sorry to hear about this. I hate freakin' Ohio roads. I'm fortunate enough to have a DD. Anyways, my main reason for posting is I saw a new pass. side quarter for sale on craig's list earlier this week (I'm a craig's list hound). It was posted under the Cleveland section:

Link: http://cleveland.craigslist.org/pts/609161618.html

Hopefully that works out for you.

I think I've got a quarter window for the car as well. I'm in sandusky 5 days a week. Also have a set of GT tails (burgundy) that I'd let go really cheap.

Whats up with that 302 and C4 for sale.

Sorry to hear bro. If it makes you feel better i wrapped my 93cobra into a pole. I saw frame damage right away and i knew it was bad news. The sight of the thing being pulled from a ditched by the tow-truck cables and hoisted up was probably the worst sight i ever had knowing i was never going to see it again.

I saw "WRECKED my Mustang" and thought someone T-boned you or something - like it was actually WRECKED, as in DESTROYED. So, good to see that it's only a fender-bender.

Now, next time, you'll know when you keep out of the throttle...

Slightly worse than a fender bender IMO. Funny thing is... I wasn't ripping on it. Just kinda happened.
