WTF stock radio stuck in??????????

Try going from behind the dash on the passenger side. You can reach back there and possibly look to see what is holding it. if it has a factory amp it is mounted underneath the stereo and will have to be bypassed in order for the new system to work. That last part was just a foreshadowing comment on your next post.

take a sawzall to it. The radio will be totally and practically jump out after that. Just an idea


Turned out being a grounding stap holding his radio in there in case anybody was wondering.

try and get a extra set of hands and pry the sides of the console apart. then have some1 pull the radio out, usually works for me. its plastic so it will give a lil

Yeah you were all wrong. There was a strap holding it in. Now how do i by pass the amp??? The guy at the sound shop here said hook the remote wire up from my cd player to the harness however i ripped it out because my old stang diddnt need it.
