I took my car in to get the windows tinted friday night, come back 4 hrs later and its done I close the drivers door to look at it and the mother ****ing window is hitting the sill by the quarter window!!!!! I told him it didn't do that before, and he was like I didnt touch it. I'm so pissed off right now! I'm gonna take it to the body shop and have them take care of it I guess

I honestly dont think they have to adjust the window in any way to install tint, unless they were doing something they werent supposed to be doing

That's what it sounds like - we had the window motor replaced on my wife's 01 and we had to take it back to Ford for the same problem - the window was hitting the sill.
Either they f'd it up or it was f'd up when you took it to them. I doubt it broke by itself.

Tell them to fix it NOW or they are going to be hearing from your lawyer.

hmmmm

Ive had 2 of my cars tinted and both times the windows were up when i got my car and i was told not to put my windows down for at least 3 days and all my friends have had the same thing said to them. I think the guy f***** up your window because he should have had the windows up and told u to keep them up for at least three days. The tint needs to dry before putting the window down because the tint could scrape off. Go to another tinting place and ask them if your window should be down when you recieve your car then go scream at the person who did yours.

the tint shop i went to was highly recommended but I think they took joy rides in my car (1.5 miles to tint my car????) and the driver outside of the window was kinda scratched up.

but the tint looks great.

They didn't tint them. It's hard to notice that it wasn't tinted. No one has asked my why I didn't tint it so I assume no one's even noticed.

I had a piece of black vinyl put on top of the dots then the tint went right up to the bottom of the vinyl strip. Looks great, does not bubble. I highly recommend this procedure for the stupid dot matrix issues on the back window.
