I took my car in to get the windows tinted friday night, come back 4 hrs later and its done I close the drivers door to look at it and the mother ****ing window is hitting the sill by the quarter window!!!!! I told him it didn't do that before, and he was like I didnt touch it. :bs: :bs: I'm so pissed off right now! I'm gonna take it to the body shop and have them take care of it I guess :nonono:

some shops DO remove the window from the door to tint it. perhaps he did not re-install it properly
That's what it sounds like - we had the window motor replaced on my wife's 01 and we had to take it back to Ford for the same problem - the window was hitting the sill.
Either they f'd it up or it was f'd up when you took it to them. I doubt it broke by itself.

hmmmm

Ive had 2 of my cars tinted and both times the windows were up when i got my car and i was told not to put my windows down for at least 3 days and all my friends have had the same thing said to them. I think the guy f***** up your window because he should have had the windows up and told u to keep them up for at least three days. The tint needs to dry before putting the window down because the tint could scrape off. Go to another tinting place and ask them if your window should be down when you recieve your car then go scream at the person who did yours.

sorry if this is off topic, but what did you guys do about the little dots ont the back window? tinted over it? stopped short?
They didn't tint them. It's hard to notice that it wasn't tinted. No one has asked my why I didn't tint it so I assume no one's even noticed.

I had a piece of black vinyl put on top of the dots then the tint went right up to the bottom of the vinyl strip. Looks great, does not bubble. I highly recommend this procedure for the stupid dot matrix issues on the back window.
