X pipe and Flowmaster?

who cares about cats?

and no i wasnt talking you you....but seeing as you are going with bassani... I guess i am now.

bassani x pipes sound terrible IMO.

dr gas is a real X design whiole bassani and BBK is a stamped casing and drones horribly

i would take the simple MAC or UPR design over them

The caveat with Dr. Gas is that it's not a bolt-on, you need to have welding equipment or go to a muffler shop to have it fitted and installed.

And my Dr. Gas X-pipe has a leak in the middle of the X ...

Dave

so u just buy the universal ones right? and what do u mean a leak, it cracked open or is it leaking at one of the welds?

Alright, I just put a BBK o/r X on my stang with MAC ceramic headers and flowmaster american thunders. The car sounds UNREAL. I can't stress enough how awesome the car sounds.

Don't even think about getting catted anything for aftermarket.

I replaced a set of BBK high flow cats (already spoken for, sorry fellas), and the difference is night and day in sound and performance. I can't believe how a 5.0 sounds uncorked like this. It sounds real low and nasty until about 4000 rpms then absolutely screams after that.
