I doubt you would see much of a power increase over SD...

The major advantage of the X3Z is the ability to run 24lb injectors with a stock MAF. This results in better idle and drivability characteristics, as there is no aftermarket 'calibrated' MAF meter to throw things off.

If you are converting to MAF from SD, and want to run 24lb injectors, then the X3Z is the way to do it.
You will need the X3Z computer, 24lb injectors, AND a 93 Cobra MAF.

The A9L is configured for 19lb injectors, and the stock 55mm MAF.
You can swap that MAF for the 94-95 Mustang 70mm MAF, but you are still limited to 19lb injectors.
That assumes ALL stock hardware is used...

If using an aftermarket MAF, then the options increase...

If getting a custom dyno tune, then the options are endless...

Will 19's be sufficient for your power level?
