I definitely caught my boss with pronz open on his computer on Monday. It was hilarious watching him scramble to minimize the window before he finally slammed the laptop shut.

shows what any of you know about reinforcement, and metallurgy.

Any 6th grade dropout knows that criss-crossing a pattern is gonna yeild a stronger end result.

All the roller 302 blocks are pretty much exactly the same, regardless of what letters are cast into them. Supposedly there is some rare roller block with thicker cylinder walls that Ford had designed for a supercharged application and then never supercharged it, but it's a moot point because the main cap/webbing was no different than a "normal" roller block, and that's where these things break anyway.

I had a virgin bore Mexican 302 block in my garage for about 2 weeks and then sold it off, and I still kick myself for not keeping it. They came with much thicker main caps and blind main bolt holes with a little more material in the main webbing than a roller 302. I can't speak to the differences in metallurgy (and I think most of that nickel content stuff is bogus rumor), but they are definitely beefier than roller blocks.
